Up In The Mountains - Vivaldi Resort

Welcome to Vivaldi Park – home to more than 1 million tourists per year. Vivaldi Park is best known for its ski facilities, made obvious by the massive gradient slopes that can be seen from every angle of the resort.

This extensive resort was built in the mid 19th century and it started off with only one building, whilst slowly expanding by erecting more buildings and facilities. Today, it stands firm at 5 apartment buildings – with more than 1,600 rooms in total. Each building also has its various facilities (such as supermarkets and bowling alleys, etc.) that cater to the greater good of the tourists.

Vivaldi Park caters to tourists as well as their locals all year round. Its motto “Four Seasons, Always a Family” says it all – no matter the weather or the temperature, activities at Vivaldi Park always brings a family together.

The resort is most crowded during the winter season as locals and tourists visit this place to ski. Ski schools as well as equipment rental are readily available, and Vivaldi Park makes it a point to ensure the safety of their guests by having a medical room located near the ski slopes should accidents occur.

Unfortunately, the winter season is still a few months away, so all we see now is vast greenery that surrounds Vivaldi Park. Not even a trace of snow!

Vivaldi Park’s sister resort – the Alepena Resort, is in its early stages of construction and it will be used for the upcoming Olympic Games in 2020. The resort would be similar to Vivaldi, with shopping malls and theme parks – the twist here is that it will be tripled in size!

The apartment that we’re staying in has a mini kitchen, a small living room and two bedrooms – one with beds and the other with tatami mats. It feels very homely and immediately puts us at ease the moment we step into it.

With just one more night to spend at this luxurious resort, there’s absolutely no time to waste.  Time to go exploring!
