Want a weekend away from home? Want a short getaway from work? Well Daemyung
Resort Vivaldi Park is just for you. Well
known for its ski slopes, this resort would make a great vacation destination
during the cold winter months. Even during the other seasons, Vivaldi Park
offers other facilities for both foreigners and locals alike. With facilities
such as a 24/7 supermart, a sauna, indoor games and even their very own water
theme park a stone’s throw away, this resort is up and running all year round,
though their busiest season would undoubtedly be winter. Although we only spent
a day here, it was enough to rejuvenate us and give us enough energy to finish
the trip. Here are some of the
facilities you can try out if you decide to go down!
Feeling hungry? Try out the many restaurants located on the basement
level of the resort. If you want a quick snack to satisfy that sweet tooth, try
out those glorious glazed donuts in Dunkin Donuts, or even the irresistibly
smooth ice cream from Baskin Robbins. If you like a more substantial meal, drop
by Domino’s Pizza and choose from an array of flavours to fill your tummy. (I
personally recommend the Koreans’ take on pizza with “Roast Meat”, which has
delicious meat atop the soft pizza dough with an ever so slight kimchi taste. Yummy!) Not only that, the
fried chicken restaurant is also a must-visit. From their gooey cheese sauces
to accompany with their bestseller crispy Buffalo wings, you’ll definitely be
left wanting for more!
Get your adrenaline pumping with the large variety of games offered
at the arcade! Beware, these addictive games will definitely pull you in and
have the inner gamer in you to spend your entire day and wallet there! Be sure
to limit yourself to a pocketful of coins because I guarantee that you would
definitely not leave there until all your money is spent!
Feel like reliving your childhood days? Hop on the carousel or ride
the bumper cars. You’ll definitely ‘bump’ your worries away!
The next and final stop would definitely be the bowling alley. If
you’re looking for a place to just hang out, this would be it. Bond with your
friends or family over a game, or you can have a small friendly competition to
show off your hidden talents. Can anyone guess who’s the best bowler in
KIM2CHI?
Though we did not manage to use all the facilities and try out
everything here, we definitely know what to look out for, should we come back!
Till then, the memories and bonds forged here will undeniably stay with us for
